CATHOLIC CAMPAIGN FOR HUMAN DEVELOPMENT/
CATHOLIC RELIEF SOCIETY COORDINATOR
Diocesan Pastoral Center - Phoenix
To support the Diocese of Phoenix in its mission in service of the Body of Christ, this position is responsible for implementing the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) and Catholic Relief Services’ (CRS) program in parishes and linking CCHD and CRS with other diocesan and non-profit organizations. This position also coordinates the Operation Rice Bowl and Bishops’ Overseas Appeal collections. The position is 30 hours per week with benefits.
Requirements: Must be well grounded in Catholic social teachings and social thought; have practical knowledge of Church structures; demonstrated knowledge of and experience in organizing techniques and program development including adult formation process; possess ability to establish and maintain working relationships with clergy, parish personnel, public officials, the media and general public; demonstrated success in communications, both oral and written. Must have demonstrated administrative skills; working knowledge of the administration of a grant program; working knowledge of general office procedures, including secretarial techniques, accurate record keeping, filing and attention to detail; ability to recognize potential problem areas and utilize problem-solving skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, Publisher, and Outlook; and the ability to travel within the diocese as needed. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in social work, theology or closely related field; strong training, communication and facilitation skills; and three years parish outreach, social ministry and administrative experience.

Under the direction of the Director of Faith Formation, the Coordinator of Youth Programs develops, implements, and coordinates programs for youth and teens (4th - 12th grade) which includes religious education, sacramental preparation and faith formation. The teen program will assist in developing the skills for the transition to an active, adult faith life.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: Two or more years experience in similar parish duties; working knowledge of the teachings of the Catholic Church and catechesis as well as Catholic directives regarding youth and young adults, including all recent Diocesan/US Bishops’/Vatican directives; practicing Roman Catholic in good standing; maintain Safe Environment training at Diocesan standards; computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher; excellent oral and written communication skills; excellent leadership, time management and delegation skills and excellent volunteer management skills. FACILITIES MANAGER

St. Timothy Catholic Community in Mesa, has an opening for an experienced manager to be responsible for hands-on management of all facility related needs of the parish and school.
Core Responsibilities:
• Maintain parish buildings, vehicles and equipment
• Work with staff to coordinate event requirements
• Manage off hours emergency calls
• Manage, train and supervise all Facilities Staff
• Negotiate and manage approved contracts for outsourced services
• Prepare annual facility capital and operating budgets; manage to those budgets
Qualifications:
• 3+ years related experience to include management of a team of employees.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety requirements and maintenance programs
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience using Microsoft Office products (word, outlook, etc.)
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Valid AZ drivers license with a clear driving record
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, bend and lift overhead.
